Bosque County Creative: Meet Evelyn Malacara
Hi! I'm Evelyn Malacara, the creative mind behind Bosque Media and Designs. Based in Bosque County, Texas, I'm a passionate learner with a growing skillset in social media management, graphic design (templates, logos, flyers, business cards), and a love for visual storytelling.
My Journey: My creative journey began when I discovered a strong interest in design. This passion fueled my decision to pursue Multimedia at McLennan Community College. I honed my skills through social media roles in the Hispanic Student Association and internships, gaining valuable experience and feedback.
My Goal: To use design to empower local and non-profit businesses to thrive. I'm excited to learn, explore, and collaborate as I embark on this creative journey.
Education
I have a CERT in Multimedia & Web Design & Associate's degree in Multimedia and Web Technology from McLennan Community College. During my studies, I gained expertise in Adobe Suite. expanding my creativity skills. I also took courses in Digital Video, Vector Graphics, Web Design I & II, & Google's Project Management.
I will be pursing a Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University through the Digital Media and Professional Communications program starting August 2024.
